When I was a kid my Mom had a deck without stairs. I knew I could build them, but much to my chagrin, my mom was more than skeptical. So with all the gumption of a determined 9yr old, I created a model that blew her expectations out of the water! She agreed to the bid, and I completed my first carpentry project.
I learned a few things from that first exposure to carpentry--#1 Charge more than free.
#2 I am capable of excellence and hard work.
And #3 Life doesn't get much better than creating something with my own hands.
That stuck with me.
Since that day I have worked in various jobs that have broadened my experience and skills. I can figure out just about anything and adapt to the project. I pride myself in my attention to detail and craftsmanship. I look forward to working with you!
